A STUDY ON “YOUTH AWARENESS TOWARDS INVESTMENT IN STOCK MARKET WITH REFERENCE TO UDUPI DISTRICT”
In India around 29% of the total population is youth.The share of Youth investors (Age between 18-30 Years) in stock market rose to 40% by September 2024, a significant increase from 22% in 2019.The youth investors in semi urban and rural places is also increasing over the period of time. By keeping this as a base, the authors attempted to study the awareness towards investment in stock market among youth in Udupi district of Karnataka state.The Authors collected information by Survey method and using secondary data.The data and information is compiled,tabulated and analysed by using statistical diagrams and Tables. Based on the inferences drawn in research, valid findings are brought out. Finally paper ends with Conclusion and few suggestions.
