Nonlinear partial differential equations in quantum fluid dynamics

Nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) are very important for modeling complicated behaviours in quantum fluid dynamics, which is where quantum physics and traditional hydrodynamics meet. It is these equations, especially nonlinear Schrödinger models, which explain wave-particle duality, dispersion, and coherence in quantum plasmas, superfluids, and Bose–Einstein condensates. As opposed to linear formulas, nonlinear PDEs show how answer interactions, modulation instabilities, and emergent turbulence take place at the quantum degree. This study looks into the mathematical bases, models, and ways to solve nonlinear PDEs in quantum fluid dynamics, with a focus on how they can be used to predict the behaviour of quantum fluids at both the microscopic and macroscopic levels.
