Research on a Fault Diagnosis Method for Elevators Based on Sound Signals

In response to the dual waste of manpower and cost in current elevator maintenance work, this paper analyzes the sound signal characteristics of elevator operation status, introduces the definition of fractional Fourier transform algorithm and short-time stationarity characteristics, and proposes a short-time stationarity feature extraction method based on fractional Fourier transform to more comprehensively capture the dynamic characteristics of signals. At the same time, a sound signal based elevator fault diagnosis method is proposed, which provides a new approach for elevator fault diagnosis by diagnosing and predicting the characteristics of elevator sound signals.
