IoT Based Vibrating Bracelet for Hearing Impaired

The IoT-based vibrating bracelet is a wearable device designed for people with hard of hearing. It uses vibrations and bright visual signals to notify people of an imminent emergency. The device is connected to a series of audio sensors that include a microphone, and microcontrollers are attached to a variety of household products that use audio alerts, such as doorbells, fire alarms, phone rings, and more. An IoT technology is used to transmit the audio sensor information to the device via transceivers, causing it to vibrate and display different LED lights depending on the type of home alert. This tactile feedback allows users to get notified with enhanced spatial awareness and visual appearance promoting greater independence in their routine work. By integrating IoT technology with miniature design principles, the proposed system aims to meet the distinctive access for hearing impaired community effectively.
