Information support for monitoring of agricultural lands based on the remote sensing and geoinformation technologies in Kon tum province of the Republic of Vietnam
The article presents a method of information support for monitoring agricultural lands based on the use of remote sensing methods and geoinformation technologies, developed for the province of Kon Tum (Vietnam). The purpose of the study is to develop a system for monitoring land and environmental resources using the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. As part of the study, an automated system for calculating and analyzing the NDVI, NDMI and LST indices was created, which allows you to assess the state of vegetation, soil moisture and temperature characteristics of the ground surface. The authors also developed a system for monitoring droughts and land-use change, suitable for agriculture. Particular attention is paid to the automation of data processing and visualization of results in the form of cartographic materials. The technique takes into account the lack of remote sensing data for the region under study and offers algorithms for calculating indices for different time intervals. This makes it applicable in other regions with the ability to adapt to available data volumes and specific monitoring conditions. The results confirm the effectiveness of using GEE to ensure the sustainable management of agricultural and environmental resources.
