Achieving high-efficiency blue organic light-emitting diodes via pyridyl-unit incorporated thermally activated delayed fluorescence materials
A blue TADF emitter was designed by introducing a pyridyl group into a donor unit. This modification decreases the electron-donating ability and forms intramolecular C–H⋯N hydrogen bonds, leading to a hypsochromic shift.
