Mulheres sem religião

The purpose of this article is to present the doctoral research being carried out in the Postgraduate Program at Puc Minas, which analyzes the process of religious disconnection of women who self-declare as having no religion in feminist collectives. To this end, we present the religious trajectory of these women without religion, demonstrating the elements that contributed to their withdrawal from the churches. In addition, we correlate gender studies and gender performance as a theoretical framework for this analysis. Our methodology used the techniques of discursive practices for the production of meaning. We used semi-structured interviews with the feminist collectives União Brasileira de Mulheres (UBM) and Di Jeje. The UBM was chosen for its longevity, having accompanied the process of re-democratization and the deepening of discussions on gender and women's rights in Brazil, and Di Jeje for representing the voices of black women, since women's experiences are multiple and race is fundamental.
