Absolute and relative number of main populations of immunocompetent cells in the peripheral blood of young futsal players
The article deals with the study of the absolute and relative number of the main populations of immunocompetent cells in peripheral blood in boys at the age from 13 to 14 who play futsal. The methodology includes the analysis of the body's adaptive processes based on indicators of the cellular composition of peripheral blood. The study is conducted among young futsal athletes at the age range from 13 to 14 years at the Futsal Academy in Uzhhorod. The experimental group (EG) consists of 15 futsal boys, whose average age is 13.53±0.08 years. The control group (CG) consists of 15 boys who do not play futsal, whose average age is 13.60±0.08 years. All adolescents (n=30) are in the final stage of immune system formation. Capillary blood is collected on an empty stomach in the morning (from 7:00 to 9:00). The results of the study show an increase in the absolute number of leukocytes and granulocytes by 8.11%, the level of rod-shaped neutrophils remains unchanged, and a decrease in agranulocytes by 6.60%, including lymphocytes. Relative indicators show an increase in the content of granulocytes by 3.89% and a decrease in agranulocytes by 2.31%, including lymphocytes. Thus, the results of the study confirm the effective adaptation of the body of young athletes to regular physical activity, due to the specifics of the training process in futsal
