<i>N</i>,<i>N′</i>-Bis([1,1′-biphenyl]-2-yl)-<i>N</i>-hydroxymethanimidamide

The title compound, C<sub>25</sub>H<sub>20</sub>N<sub>2</sub>O, crystallizes in the monoclinic <i>C</i>2/c space group, as the <i>N</i>-hy-droxy-formamidine isomer, in the <i>E</i> conformation (when referring to the C=N bond). Inversion dimers formed through pairwise O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds are present in the structure. C-H⋯π and π-π stacking inter-actions complete the crystal packing.
