Computational investigation of the potential of a zinc-based metal–organic framework as a quercetin and 5-fluorouracil anticancer drug carrier
A 3D MOF, [Zn 2 (pdc) 2 (DMF)] n ·2DMF ( 1 ) [H 2 pdc = Pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid], was synthesized and tested for stability in various organic solvents. Computational studies showed the high potential 1 for the anticancer quercetin and 5-Fu delivery.
