Power distribution control principles for a two-axle hybrid passenger car
Distribution of torques on the driving wheels of a car is the basis of its energy efficiency, determines its tractiondynamic and economic characteristics. Compared with a single-flow mechanical transmission, multi-flow hybrid transmissions allow more flexible control of power distribution. Modern hybrids of the P0 + P3 + P4 architecture have this capability in full. In this regard, their example is used to compare possible alternative control strategies for thermal and electric engines. Keywords torque distribution, power flow, efficiency, acceleration, energy recovery
