Calculation method for determining the fuel consumption of a truck

A refined formula for calculating the fuel consumption of a truck is proposed. Unlike the known formula, it takes into account the aerodynamic resistance to movement and the degree of engine power use by the vehicle. The reliability of the proposed formula is confirmed by experimental measurement of the fuel consumption of a truck. The calculated values of fuel consumption of a truck differed from the experimental data by no more than 2 %.
