Perencanaan Ulang Pada Jembatan Flyover Aloha Sidoarjo Dengan Menggunakan Concrete Segmental Box Girder Di STA 0+420 – STA 0+450
This study discusses the redesign of the Aloha Flyover Bridge in Sidoarjo, particularly in the STA 0+420 – STA 0+450 segment, by replacing the initial steel box girder structure with a concrete segmental box girder. The design change was driven by the need to improve structural efficiency, load-bearing capacity, durability, and long-term maintenance, especially in areas with high traffic intensity. The redesign process involves numerical analysis using SAP2000 software, supported by manual calculations in accordance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and prestressed concrete theory. The structural analysis includes cross-sectional geometry design, load distribution due to dead and live loads, prestressing force planning, stress and deflection control, and estimation of prestress losses due to tendon relaxation, friction, shrinkage, and formwork effects. The results demonstrate that the single-cellular concrete segmental box girder offers safe and efficient structural performance in terms of material usage, stiffness, and constructability. Moreover, the segmental system allows for staged construction, making it suitable for constrained environments such as national roads or densely built-up urban areas. This research not only provides a technical solution for the specific case study but also contributes to the development of more sustainable, adaptive, and efficient bridge design methodologies. It is expected that the findings of this study will serve as a practical reference for civil engineers, designers, and contractors in planning and constructing modern bridge infrastructure that responds effectively to contemporary demands.
