Panel sobre personas “sin religión” en América Latina
To conclude this asynchronous dialogue (which recreates the conversation held at the Conference on our panel: "Challenges and Reflections on the Non-Religious in Latin America: Data and Future Perspectives"), some key reflections will be presented in relation to the three proposed axes of work. The following questions will drive the discussions: 1) Is it possible to define a specific field of study for the "non-religious" in Latin America? And, if so, what are its characteristics? 2) What evidence do we have on this population group in Latin America, and what remains to be learned? What myths does the evidence somehow debunk? 3) What are the future challenges for the study of the "non-religious" in the region?
