Architecture of Global Emergency Communication System Based on Cell-Phone Directly Connecting to Satellite Technology
With the gradual degradation of the environment on earth, natural disasters induced by extreme weather are occurring frequently all over the world each year. To offer emergency communication services to people in disaster - stricken areas, both during and after disasters, to save lives, the construction of a global emergency communication system is an urgent necessity. It is reasonable to build a wide and seamless communication system by satellites. And the technology of cell-phone directly connecting to satellite makes it a cost-effective way to provide satellite communicating ability to most extensive ordinary consumers. In this paper, an architecture of global emergency communication system is proposed based on technology of cell-phone directly connecting to satellite aimed to provide emergency communication services to people across the global. In this system, emergency call and short message are considered as basic services. Combined with artificial intelligent techniques, the picture or video services maybe also supported in future.
