Large-Scale Parameters Evaluation from OTA Measurements of a Virtual Large Antenna Array
This work investigates the following large-scale parameters: delay spread (DS), azimuth angle spread of departure (ASD), and zenith angle spread of departure (ZSD), from over-the-air (OTA) up-link channel measurements in an urban macro-cell (UMa) [email protected] Hz, considering different antenna array positions within a virtual large antenna array. Results indicate differences between extracted parameters and the 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) model. The largest difference is perceived for horizontal angle spread. Additionally, the difference between user equipment (UE) ports parameters is notable, indicating room for improvement of the UMa scenario parameters of the current standard.
