Indicators of the effectiveness of treatment of post-stroke patients
Objective. To assess the effectiveness of rehabilitation treatment for post-stroke patients based on the results of hemodynamic index analysis. Materials and methods. 66 men and women aged 41 to 82 years were examined, divided into 3 age groups. The activities of the 2nd stage of rehabilitation were carried out for 2 weeks and included: drug therapy, physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy and neuropsychological practices. Rehabilitation activities were carried out daily, lasting at least 3 hours. On the 1st and 10th days, 24-hour Holter monitoring of the electrocardiogram was carried out together with daily blood pressure monitoring. Results. A qualitative assessment of hemodynamic indices, conducted based on the pathophysiological analysis of the changes that occurred, confirmed the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures. The indices of cardiovascular system functioning after treatment in women are better than in men. The proposed assessment method allows us to determine the program for stage 3 of rehabilitation.
