Los otros Ahuehuetes en la Conformación de Procesos Nacionalistas, Registros de la Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México
This work serves as a framework to explain the relationship between the tree species Taxodium mucronatum (Ahuehuete) and traits and symbols of nationalism at different stages in the history of Mexico, a characteristic that deserves attention as a phenomenon of identity processes and the formation of public opinion. The study of the ahuehuete present in the Cuauhtémoc Municipality was carried out by applying the dendrochronology method as a diagnostic tool for this ecological component, which is now very small and was part of the extinct lake region of the basin of Mexico.
