Power Loss Analysis of Three‐Phase Differential Boost Inverter

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a power loss calculation method applicable to three‐phase differential boost inverter (DBI). Building upon traditional three‐phase inverter loss calculation formulas, the method determines current through power devices by analyzing single‐phase circuit inductor currents and derives dedicated loss calculation formulas for the novel topology through combination with power device conducting states. Theoretical calculations reveal the trends of device losses under variations in switching frequency and input voltage. By identifying minimum error conditions of the proposed formula through circuit simulation verification, this study provides guiding insights for practical circuit experimentation. The established methodology offers significant reference value for loss analysis and efficiency optimization in DBI implementations.
