A produção de conteúdo digital no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de Português Língua Não Materna pela abordagem educomunicativa

The paper explores a teaching-learning experience of portuguese foreign language through the lens of educommunication. The primary objective was to investigate the potential for integrating social media to promote a more inclusive and collaborative learning process, even at an early proficiency level. Thus, the study focused on learners' autonomy and the development of communicative skills within an interactive educational environment. Consequently, the activities were implemented in an A2-level class within a linguistic immersion context in Portugal. The adopted methodology was based on implementing activities that encouraged learners to produce digital content while considering their linguistic andtechnological limitations. As a result, the study observed the development of media content creation from both individual and group perspectives, contributing to the enhancement of learners’ linguistic, sociolinguistic, and pragmatic competencies. In summary, the study found that the critical use of media in portuguese as aforeign language teaching fostered a more active, collaborative, and emancipatory learning experience. It underscores the importance of learners’ co-management of knowledge, using communication as the central axis of the educational process.
