Incoerências no emprego das formas de tratamento uma análise dos enunciados de provas elaboradas por professores angolanos

This study analyzes inconsistencies in the use of forms of address in exam statements prepared by Angolan teachers. The research identifies a widespread tendency to alternate between informal forms of address (“tu”) and more formal ones (“você” or “senhor”), which constitutes a deviation from the standard norms of the Portuguese language. Grounded in the works of authors such as Chen (2014), Cintra (1972), Miguel (2007), Muanza et al. (2018), and Rodrigues (2002), the study adopts a descriptive approach, analyzing a corpus of exams produced during the 2023/2024 academic year. The results reveal five main patterns of inadequacy. In response to the issue, the study proposes didactic strategies involving structural and reflective exercises on the use of the imperative—whose conjugation varies depending on the level of (in)formality—integrated into the teaching of injunctive and administrative texts. These practices may help mitigate linguistic inconsistencies in exam statements.
