Sexual behavior, serological profile and use of psychoactive substances among sex workers
A high prevalence of syphilis, inconsistent condom use, and patterns of substance abuse/dependence were observed among sex workers. The findings reinforce the need for effective combined STI prevention strategies, harm reduction actions, and specific care interventions for this vulnerable population.
