An Ontology-Based Decision Support System for E-Commerce of Indonesia's Tropical Landscape Plants
The use of landscape plants needs to be accompanied by knowledge of horticulture and landscape architecture to adjust consumer habits who buy without consulting experts. Therefore, a system is required that can provide a place to sell landscape plants with a knowledge base. The data in this study came from literature, interviews, and expert consensus. By applying the concept of Ontology as a knowledge base and Fuzzy as a decision support to provide recommendations to users (recommendations for the best trees for roadside landscapes), this study has succeeded in compiling an ontology of landscape plants, then implemented into a decision support system that can be integrated or embedded in the e-commerce website for the selection of tropical landscape plants in Indonesia.
