Design of an Intelligent Desert Afforestation Machine Based on STM32 Microcontroller

With the rapid advancement of computer technology, its applications in industrial automation and intelligent control have become increasingly widespread. As global desertification issues grow more severe, posing significant threats to ecological environments and human survival, traditional desert management methods suffer from low efficiency, high costs, and difficulties in adapting to complex and variable desert conditions. To address these challenges, an intelligent desert afforestation machine based on the STM32 microcontroller has been designed. The design centers around the STM32F103C8T6 as the core controller, integrating various sensors such as infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and temperature-humidity sensors to collect real-time environmental data. A 4G remote image transmission module and GPS positioning system are employed to transmit signals, while a camera enables real-time monitoring. This allows remote operation of the machine for afforestation tasks in complex, narrow, and remote terrains. Based on data detected by the sensors, the ground clearance of the V-shaped reclamation device is set, and the machine is capable of automatically avoiding obstacles during operation. The design is simple and user-friendly, saving manpower and resources while significantly improving the efficiency of desert afforestation. It demonstrates excellent adaptability and stability in complex environments, paving a new path for the automation and intelligence of desertification control efforts.
