Throughput Optimization for Time-Switching SWIPT Multi-Hop DF Relay Networks
This paper investigates the throughput optimization problem in multi-hop wireless relay networks. We assume that passive relays acquire energy through energy harvesting (EH) technology to support data forwarding, and simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) is only applied between two adjacent nodes. We adopt the time switching (TS) protocol and decode-and-forward (DF) relays. The resulting throughput optimization problem is non-convex but can be transformed into a convex optimization problem, which is then solved using the proposed Lagrangian dual method. Numerical simulations validate the optimality of the proposed method, and its computational complexity is suitable for practical communication systems.
