Research Hotspots and Trends in Ecological Equity and Sustainable Development from 2005 to 2024
Ecological equity is a core issue in sustainability research, encompassing key areas such as environmental justice, resource allocation, and climate governance. To systematically understand the research progress and development trends in this field, this study conducted a comprehensive bibliometric and visual analysis of literature related to ecological equity and sustainable development from 2005 to 2024, based on the Web of Science Core Collection and VOSViewer software. National collaboration network analysis was employed to reveal the global distribution of research capabilities and collaboration patterns, while highly cited article analysis was used to identify core research achievements with significant academic influence. In terms of thematic analysis, keyword co-occurrence networks were utilized to examine the intrinsic connections among research topics, and cluster analysis was applied to identify major research domains. This analytical framework not only uncovers the knowledge structure and evolutionary patterns of the field but also provides a systematic reference for advancing theoretical innovation and practical applications in ecological equity research.
