The technical discussion on the coordinated update of provincial and municipal data in Tianditu-XPCC

As a window for the economic construction of geographic information services, the richness and up-to-date nature of TianDiTu's data directly reflect the level of application service quality. The joint updates at the national and provincial levels have become relatively mature after years of exploration and practice, but the issue of coordinated updates between these two levels has yet to be satisfactorily resolved. With the deepening of online application models for TianDiTu and the increasing demand from industry applications, the need for geographic information in city and county-level economic construction is also growing. Based on the current status of the "TianDiTu Bingtuan" project, this paper proposes a solution of "provincial-city linkage and tiered updates," exploring the establishment of a data update mechanism involving all levels of users. This aims to continuously enrich the types and content of "TianDiTu Bingtuan" data, enhance its up-to-date nature and accuracy, thereby improving the public service capabilities and standards of online geographic information.
