Solving the gas production capacity of Ⅰ and Ⅱ type reservoirs in Weiyuan block based on large-scale data

Aiming at the fact that the gas production capacity of the reservoirs in Weiyuan block is not clear, a quantitative shale gas reservoir capacity evaluation method based on the classification of reservoirs is proposed. Establishing the quantitative relationship model of Ⅰ and Ⅱ reservoir capacity, constructing the binary matrix equation of “thickness-capacity” innovatively, and adopting the method of least squares to realize the efficient solution of ultra-large-scale data. Calculated from 187,000 data sets, the gas production capacity per unit thickness of Class I reservoir is 0.142×108 m3/km2, and that of Class II reservoir is 0.038×108 m3/km2, and the ratio of the two is 3.7:1. Through the practical verification of H21-1 well, it effectively proves the relationship between the gas production capacity of Ⅰ and Ⅱ type reservoirs in actual development, and provides direct guidance for the efficient development of shale gas. The study provides a systematic solution for the three-dimensional development of shale gas reservoirs through the effective combination of theoretical innovation, methodological breakthroughs and practical application, which has important theoretical significance and application value.
