Research on the hazard assessment method of geological hazards in power transmission corridors based on satellite images
In order to reduce the impact of geological disasters on the transmission line, the transmission and inspection team needs to carry out the investigation of geological hazards of the transmission line all the year round, especially under the influence of project construction, rainstorm and long-term rainfall, water and soil loss is likely to occur in the power line corridor. Due to the requirement of completing geological hazard investigation in a short period of time, there are generally difficulties such as a shortage of personnel, urgent tasks, and a large workload. To address this issue, a risk assessment method for soil erosion disasters in transmission lines based on satellite image recognition is proposed. This method selects typical satellite atlases of soil erosion, analyzes the color characteristics, texture characteristics, shape characteristics, etc. of different types of maps, and establishes a feature parameter set that characterizes each type of satellite atlas. For a satellite image of a transmission line to be evaluated, the correlation calculation theory is used to analyze the correlation coefficients between its color histogram distribution, color characteristics, etc. and different images, and to evaluate which type it belongs to. After grayscale conversion, feature extraction, and binarization, the preprocessed image is obtained. Then, the comprehensive risk value of soil erosion in the image is obtained by using hazard direction recognition model, hazard area recognition model, and hazard distance recognition model. Finally, the effectiveness of this method was demonstrated through practical cases.
