Cidade Sonora: interface entre arquitetura, música e artes visuais
This article proposes an investigation into the use of graphic scores as an intersection between the fields of music, visual arts, and architecture. We analyze the piece Cidade Sonora — composed in 2022, based on architectural façades in São Paulo — as an example of synesthetic creation and interpretation, bringing different possibilities of musical notation, with a methodology of symbolic transposition from the graphic plane to the sonic/gestural plane, associated with gestures of Conduction (MORRIS, 2017), Soundpainting (THOMPSON, 2006), and Ritmo y Percusión con Señas (VÁZQUEZ, 2013).
