RELAÇÕES PARENTAIS E SEUS IMPACTOS NA VIDA DOS FILHOS

This article presents a documentary research based on CREAS reports, which highlight the main services and demands received between January 1, 2024, and October 14, 2024. The general objective is to correlate violent parenting with its impacts on intrafamilial relationships and on the psychosocial development of children and adolescents. The study investigates the types of parental relationships present, the effects of conflict and neglect on children's mental health, and the effectiveness of CREAS interventions with families. The results and discussions are organized into topics that support understanding, evidence, interventions, evaluation of interventions, and reflection. One of the main challenges identified in CREAS's work is the recurrence of violence, even after institutional interventions. Factors such as the absence of an effective support network, victims’ financial dependence, and the emotional fragility of those involved hinder the ability to break the cycle of violence. This reality reinforces the need for an intersectoral approach, involving coordinated efforts among social assistance, mental health services, education, and legal support to ensure more effective and continuous follow-up with families at risk. Therefore, the conclusions of this research highlight the importance of strengthening CREAS and other support networks by promoting integrated public policies that ensure the full protection of children and adolescents through preventive actions, ongoing monitoring, and the promotion of well-being.
