PENERAPAN BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR DENGAN TEKNIK PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU KASUS

This research aims to increase the learning independence of students in class XI-9 of SMA Negeri 2 Kediri City through classical guidance services using Problem Based Learning (PBL) techniques using case cards. The method used is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) in two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were 37 students who were selected based on the recommendation of the guidance and counseling teacher because they had low learning independence. The research instrument is a Linkert scale questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively through comparison of the average scores of the pretest, posttest cycle I and posttest cycle II as well as the paired sample t-test and N-Gain calculations. The results showed that the average score for learning independence was from 106 (pretest) to 114 (posttest cycle I) and 127 (posttest cycle II) accompanied by a decrease in the standard deviation from 16.07 to 3.52. Improvements occurred in aspects of time management, learning initiative, responsibility and independent decision making. PBL with effective case cards encourages students to actively discuss, think critically, solve real problems and reflect on learning strategies.

The method used is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) in two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research instrument is a Linkert scale questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Improvements occurred in aspects of time management, learning initiative, responsibility and independent decision making. PBL with effective case cards encourages students to actively discuss, think critically, solve real problems and reflect on learning strategies.
