Ultrasound Imaging/Guidance for Superficial Radial (Dorsolateral Branch) Neuropathy After Ganglion Excision Surgery

The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request. Video S1: Dynamic ultrasound examination (axial view) begins with visualization of the superficial radial nerve, dividing into dorsomedial (DM) and dorsolateral (DL) branches. Thickening of the tenosynovial sheath (asterisks) and subcompartmentalization of the abductor pollicis longus (APL) are observed next to the extensor pollicis brevis tendon (EPB). Distally, the dorsolateral branch of the superficial radial nerve further divides into its terminal branches (arrowheads), lying dorsolateral to the 1st extensor compartment. During the intervention, the injectate is initially given perineural and then inside the sheath of the 1st extensor compartment (arrows).
