A WEB-BASED SYSTEM FOR AIR POLLUTION MONITORING WITH API-INTEGRATED DATA SOURCES
The developed web-based platform for atmospheric air monitoring is a multicomponent system that collects, processes and visualizes data on air pollution. The platform integrates data from automated monitoring stations and historical data, providing the user with real-time information on concentrations of pollutants such as PM2.5, PM10, CO, SO₂, NO₂, as well as the Air Quality Index (AQI). One of the key features is the use of cartographic tools to display the spread of pollutants, which contributes to an in-depth analysis of the spatial and temporal dynamics of pollution. The system also provides recommendations for vulnerable populations based on World Health Organization standards. The platform includes up-to-date and historical data for forecasting changes in the environmental situation, which allows to form effective strategies for air quality management and making environmentally sound decisions at different levels.
