Detection of the singlet charged vector-like lepton via its single production at the ILC
In the context of a general vector-like lepton (VLL) model, we investigate the detection prospects of singlet charged VLL via its single production at the International Linear Collider (ILC) with the center-of-mass energy s = 1 TeV and the integrated luminosity L = 1 ab − 1 . We analyze three types of signals: four-lepton ( 4 ℓ ) , four-lepton with missing energy ( 4 ℓ E / ) and dilepton with missing energy ( 2 ℓ E / ) . Detection sensitivities at 2 σ , 3 σ and 5 σ confidence levels are computed for various mass ranges. Our numerical results show that the 4 ℓ signal offers the best sensitivity to the singlet charged VLL with mass in the range of 300 − 900 GeV.
