Efficacy of 0.05% Topical Tretinoin to Treat Glucocorticoid‐Induced Skin Atrophy in a Self‐Controlled Case Study
This self-controlled case study demonstrates the therapeutic potential of 0.05% topical tretinoin for glucocorticoid-induced skin atrophy. The patient experienced marked improvements in skin resilience and appearance, as evidenced by reduced bruising, improved skin elasticity, and increased patient satisfaction. Given this condition's lack of effective treatments, the findings could offer a promising therapeutic option.
