Development of an asset management information system for reliability assessment of SSCs in Indonesia's Isotope Production Reactor (RPI)
The Isotope Production Reactor (RPI) planned to be built in Indonesia requires a reliability and safety model that accounts for aging factors to support asset management. This study develops structures, systems, and components (SSC) reliability and safety assessment information system, aiding the SSC from design through operation. A database and asset management system were created to evaluate SSC reliability and safety, ensuring effective planning. The process involved designing an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) and a database to track failures. Analyses identified components with low reliability and high failure rates. An information system was then developed to estimate SSC reliability models, helping extend SSC lifespan. Built using the PHP-based Laravel framework with an MVC architecture, the system features a Bootstrap-based interface and a MySQL database managed through XAMPP. Composer was used for dependency management, and Visual Studio Code served as the primary code editor. This system enhances data management efficiency and supports informed decision-making by integrating modern technology.
