ORGANIZING THE USE OF NATURE RESERVE LANDS FOR TOURISM PURPOSES

The implementation of the Omsk Region state program "Development of Culture and Tourism" aims to promote tourism in the region and foster socioeconomic development. Places of interest to tourists are being identified for their involvement in tourism. Specially protected natural areas, distinguished by their unique landscapes and diverse flora and fauna, are valuable recreational resources and can be used for tourism. This article presents the results of a study on the management of protected lands for tourism. The object of the study is the state natural zoological reserve of regional significance "Kileiny", located in the Bolsheukovsky municipal district of the Omsk region. The reserve's geographical location makes it the northernmost of the existing reserves in the Omsk region. It encompasses diverse combinations of coniferous and deciduous forests, as well as a mix of forest and forest-steppe species. A promising tourism destination has been identified, in the form of a weekend route along an ecological trail within the reserve. When designing the ecological trail, the natural conditions of the reserve's territory were studied, a plan and route for the ecological trail were developed, as well as proposals for its development. Five thematic stations are planned along the trail route: local history, flora, bear tracks, tracks and sounds of nature, and conservation. Visitors are invited to track the location of bears within the reserve. A passport for the ecological trail has been developed. A feasibility study for the tourist route has been completed. The investment costs are related to the development of the ecological trail, and the return on investment is expected to come from conducting group excursions along the trail. The natural, historical, and cultural attractions of the area were taken into account when developing the tourist route. The implementation of this project will expand the region's tourism potential and provide a new direction for the socio-economic development of the district.
