ANALYSIS OF LONG GRB 211211A USING SWIFT/BAT DATA

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the Long Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB) GRB 211211A using data obtained from the Swift/Burst Alert Telescope (BAT). The research focuses on spectral energy distribution, photon emission patterns, and mass-to-energy conversion during the GRB events. Data reduction and analysis were performed using HEASoft 6.11 and Origin 8.0 software. The results reveal distinct multi-peak structures in the light curves, with photons predominantly emitted in lower energy bands (15–100 keV). The estimated mass converted into radiation was calculated, showing variations across energy ranges. The findings support the hypothesis that Dark GRBs result from galactic mergers, with photon scattering in dusty environments explaining the absence of afterglows.
