The rising uncertainty and unprecedented crisis like COVID-19 pandemic have ruthlessly affected employee's mental health resulting employee poor performance at workplace. Consequently, organizations are now endeavoring to find factors which boost employee mental health and enhance organizational performance. Therefore, current study has developed an integrated model and investigates impact of caring human resource practices, responsible leadership, organizational justice, workplace spirituality and strategic climate in employee mental health. Moreover, the moderating impact of subjective well-being is investigated between employee mental health and organizational performance. Overall, 405 respondents had participated in this health care research survey. Statistical findings demonstrate that exogenous factors like caring HR practices, organizational justice, responsible leadership, strategic climate and workplace spirituality have explained substantial variance R2 43.6 % in employee mental health. Similarly, subjective well-being and employee mental health have exhibited R2 55.7 % variance in organizational performance. Nevertheless, factors like caring HR practices, workplace spirituality and subjective well-being are found most influential factors to determine employee mental health and organizational performance. For policy makers this study has suggested that caring human resource practices, organizational justice, responsible leadership, strategic climate and workplace spirituality are central factors which boost employee mental health during turbulence and hence need managerial attention. This research is original as it conceptualizes linkage between caring human resource practices and employee mental health. Moreover, examining the role of subjective well-being as moderating factor between employee mental health and organizational performance has made this research more unique and valuable.
