O SALBUTAMOL É EFICAZ NO TRATAMENTO DA BRONQUIOLITE?
Acute bronchiolitis is the most common lower respiratory tract infection in children under two years of age, often caused by viruses such as Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Its pathophysiology involves inflammation, edema, necrosis of epithelial cells, and increased mucus secretion, which obstruct small airways, leading to cough, wheezing, and respiratory difficulty. The main treatment for most cases is supportive, including oxygen therapy, hydration, and proper nutrition.
