Dynamics of warm inflation in modified teleparallel gravity f(T,๐ฏ)
This work explores warm inflation within the framework of modified teleparallel gravity, specifically [Formula: see text], under the strong dissipative regime ([Formula: see text]). We analyze two inflationary potentials Chaotic and Natural by considering both constant and variable dissipation coefficients. For the Chaotic potential with a constant dissipation parameter, the spectral index remains insensitive to the model parameter, whereas the tensor-to-scalar ratio exhibits a clear dependence on it; results for specific choices of the potential exponent agree with the Planck 2018 observations. When the dissipation coefficient varies, only one particular case of the Chaotic potential yields predictions consistent with observational bounds, with the energy scales adjusting appropriately as the model parameters vary. For the Natural potential, our findings reveal that the [Formula: see text] gravity correction plays a crucial role: it not only induces the necessary modifications to the spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio but also permits the spontaneous symmetry breaking scale to reside below the Planck scale while still conforming to experimental constraints. These results contrast sharply with cold inflation scenarios, where corrections from [Formula: see text] gravity fail to rehabilitate the potentials. Finally, the study suggests that exploring alternative forms of [Formula: see text] gravity and revisiting other previously discarded potentials could provide further insights into the viability of warm inflation models.
