Metal ions (Zn, Mn and Ti) substituted in lithium ferrites as a dielectric material for capacitive wireless power transfer applications

The idea of capacitive coupling interference used for wireless power transfer applications is studied using ferrite as the dielectric material. Capacitive wireless power transmission can take the place of traditional inductive wireless power transfer. Capacitive coupling wireless power transfer has a limitation because of its low coupling capacitance. However, this can be increased by introducing a dielectric material between the plates of the capacitor. The obtained capacitance value depends upon the dielectric materials used, plate area (A), and distance of interference between the plates (d). In this paper, we investigate the effect of ferrite-lithium ferrite and titanium-substituted lithium ferrite as a dielectric material on the capacitive coupling interference at applied frequency.
