Research on a 2D–3D collaborative remote sensing monitoring method for vegetation encroachment on transmission lines
With the rapid expansion of China's power grid scale and the strengthening of ecological protection, the “line tree conflict” is increasingly prominent. It is of great significance to carry out regular and accurate inspections on the distribution of trees around transmission lines, and to discover and deal with potential tree obstacles in a timely manner, in order to safeguard the safety of the power grid and enhance the reliability of power supply. This study proposes a tree obstacle monitoring method for transmission lines based on two- and three-dimensional remote sensing synergy, which integrates the feature recognition advantage of two-dimensional multispectral images with the three-dimensional reconstruction capability of stereo pairs to accurately quantify the spatial distance between tree crowns and transmission conductors, and provides data support for early warning of tree obstacle risks and accurate logging decision-making, which effectively improves the efficiency of safety management of transmission corridors.
