Optimized design and application of precise positioning for the loading platform of hyperspectral core scanners
This study addresses two critical issues in hyperspectral core scanning technology: abnormal sliding of core boxes and inconsistent positioning during multiple scans. To solve these problems, an innovative positionable loading platform was developed. The core innovation of the platform lies in the "Triple-Positioning Assurance Mechanism": An asymmetric triple-rail system provides basic guidance. A gear system, composed of anti-slip gears and gear track strips, ensures motion stability. A locking device, made up of a marker rod slot and a fixed stop block, achieves precise positioning. This design effectively solves the problem of core box sliding caused by uneven instrument installation or deformation under force. Results show that the platform significantly improves scanning efficiency and ensures the consistency and reliability of spectral and imaging data. It is particularly suitable for large-scale hyperspectral scanning of cores and provides reliable technical support for deep geological exploration.
