ANEURISMA VOLUMOSO DE CARÓTIDA ESQUERDA
Carotid artery aneurysm is a rare but potentially fatal condition, with a high mortality rate, especially when left untreated. This paper reports the case of a patient with a left internal carotid pseudoaneurysm, diagnosed through computed tomography and treated with endovascular surgery. The study discusses the anatomy of the carotid arteries, risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment of aneurysms, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and surgical intervention due to the high risk of complications such as stroke and rupture.
