Virtual games presents a constantly growing market. This study aims to analyze the presence of virtual games in the Brazilian market. To this end, exploratory research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Initially, a literature review was conducted on the emergence of electronic games to the present day, aiming to understand the development, evolution, and impact of the segment on the market. Documentary research was conducted through web graphic analysis, including blogs, specialized portals, and digital news. The analysis of the responses obtained through a questionnaire sent to specialists aimed to understand the impact of virtual games on this market. Based on the results, it is possible to understand the factors that helped this sector develop and generate such an impact on the market, attracting demand and investment from other sectors not yet directly linked to games.
