The average age range was 41 to 59 years. The female gender predominated (51.8%), with a high school education (36.6%), and an active worker (32.8%). The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in the HGZ/MF No. 12 Lázaro Cárdenas was 22.5%, with a female predominance.
