MODERNIZATION OF A TYPICAL ALGORITHM FOR OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE. IV

The article considers the modernization of a standard obstacle avoidance algorithm for unmanned aerial vehicles using ROS and Gazebo systems. Experiments are conducted in simulation to evaluate effectiveness of the algorithm during flights in urban and indoor areas, as well as the solution flexibility when scaling to a drone swarm.
