The authors have studied a four-component model of population dynamics with a seasonal reproduction, in which the birth rate depends on the sex ratio. Scenarios of transition from a stable state to population fluctuations have been considered. The influence of intrapopulation parameters in determining the average harem size and its production has been analyzed.
